Job summary

Sonoco in Robesonia, PA is seeking a Spiral Technician I to support the 17" winder equipment, perform setup and troubleshooting, and assist with preventative maintenance. The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a customer‑focused mindset on a 2nd shift.

You will interpret production orders in Oracle and help track scrap, efficiency, and downtime. Excellent communication, safety awareness, and leadership are essential as you contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and housekeeping skills required.
• Strong safety commitment and willingness to work overtime.
• Ability to interpret Oracle production orders and enter data accurately.
• Experience with machine set up, including winders and cutters, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist machine setups for 17'' winder equipment.
• Operate, set up, and troubleshoot equipment as required.
• Operate cutter and perform machine preventive maintenance.
• Document machine logs and report quality metrics and scrap.
• Enter Oracle data and track production information (efficiency, downtime).
• Support crew on packaging, setup, and quality requirements.
