Job summary

Jobtailor in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Spiral Fabrication Technician to operate spiral machines, assist with fittings, and maintain equipment. You will work with a team to ensure timely order completion and uphold quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will communicate with management and supervisors, keep the workspace organized, and contribute to safe, efficient production daily. This role requires attention to detail and a professional approach to tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with spiral fabrication preferred.
• Able to work flexible schedule including some weekends.
• Professional appearance and ability to read/write.
• Familiarity with HVAC or construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate spiral machine to complete orders on time.
• Assist with spiral fittings and insulation as needed.
• Maintain spiral machinery and shop equipment.
• Update order status daily and communicate with supervision.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Support crew to complete projects timely.

Responsibilities

• Operate spiral machine to complete orders in a timely manner
• Assist with spiral fittings and spiral insulation as needed
• Provide the best quality and productive work without constant reminder.
• Communicate with management, superintendent.
• Check to ensure that each job order is accurate and complete.
• Maintain spiral machinery (such as spiral fitting machines, spiral pipe machines)
• Maintain, clean, and organize work area
• Cross-communication with spiral fitting team to ensure product accuracy
• Update order status daily
• Assist with general work activities per the direction of the shop Supervisor to complete the activities.
• Support the mechanic, foremen, and superintendent to complete the project in a timely manner.
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time.

Requirements

• Experience with spiral and/or spiral fitting fabrication preferred
• Must be able to work flexible schedule-days, and some weekends.
• Present yourself in a professional manner.
• Must be able to work with variety of tools, follow directions and be able to read and write.
