Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency in Maryland is seeking an Orthopedic Spine Surgery APP (PA or NP) to provide comprehensive patient care for an orthopedic spine surgery team, including outpatient consultations and postoperative management across assigned clinical locations.

The role also serves as a first assistant in the operating room, collaborating with the spine surgeon, supporting diagnostic planning, monitoring recovery, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong clinical skills in musculoskeletal/spine care and perioperative patient management.
• Ability to work effectively in both outpatient and surgical settings.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, evaluate symptoms, and support diagnostic and treatment planning.
• Deliver postoperative follow-up care, monitor recovery, and manage common complications.
• Collaborate with the orthopedic spine surgeon and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide surgical support as a first assistant in the OR.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient communication.
