Job summary

Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI) in Freehold, NJ, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to split time between inpatient rounds and our outpatient clinic at CentraState Medical Center.

The role includes rounding on postoperative and cancer patients, potential surgical first assist in minimally invasive spine surgeries, and coordinating image reviews, procedures, and therapy evaluations.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and think critically.
• Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates inpatient consults and rounds on hospital patients; staffs outpatient clinic.
• Independently assess patients and order labs/radiology/tests/injections/surgeries.
• Perform history and physicals; write pre- and post-operative orders.
• Prescribe medications per New Jersey law, including controlled substances with DEA.
• Collaborate with attending physician and APP team to implement therapy plans.
