VSI is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our elite spine surgery team in Reston, VA. The role involves working closely with renowned spine surgeons, managing a full continuum of care from evaluation to OR first-assist, and utilizing advanced imaging and robotics technologies.

Ideal candidates are PAs with NCCPA certification, Virginia license or eligibility, and a commitment to excellence in patient care within a concierge, out-of-network model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification is required.
• Active Virginia PA license or eligibility.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and professional maturity.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for spine patients in the office.
• Interpretation of advanced imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, labs).
• High-level patient education using imaging, models, and counseling.
• First-assist responsibilities in complex spinal procedures, including discectomy and fusion.
• Participation in technologically advanced spine surgery with robotics, AR, and AI.
• Direct patient communication, including daily follow-up and care coordination.
• Medication management with evidence-based prescribing.
• Preventative care and education related to musculoskeletal health.
