VSI Spine Solutions in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area seeks an exceptional Physician Assistant to join our highly specialized team of spine surgeons and eleven elite PAs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Active Virginia PA license (or eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for spine patients in the office.
• Interpretation of advanced imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, labs).
• High-level patient education using imaging, models, and individualized counseling.
• First-assist responsibilities in complex spinal procedures, including discectomy, disc replacement, spinal fusion, instrumentation, and wound closure.
• Participation in technologically advanced spine surgery incorporating robotics, augmented reality, and AI-driven planning and execution.
• Direct patient communication, including daily follow-up and care coordination.
• Medication management with thoughtful, evidence-based prescribing.
• Preventative care and education related to musculoskeletal health and osteoporosis.
• Active collaboration within a multidisciplinary, high-performing team.

• Participation in technologically advanced spine surgery incorporating robotics, augmented reality, and AI-driven planning and execution


• Direct patient communication, including daily follow-up and care coordination


• Medication management with thoughtful, evidence-based prescribing


• Preventative care and education related to musculoskeletal health and osteoporosis


• Active collaboration within a multidisciplinary, high-performing team (spine surgery, regenerative medicine, physiatry, neurology, and anesthesia pain management)
