Spectrum Health's Neurosciences Spine Service is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Spine Surgery APP team at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. You will work in OR, inpatient and outpatient settings, with new APP training and collaborative care across spine surgeons and residents.

Expect a 4-day workweek with on-call responsibilities; team expansion to 9 spine APPs to support growing surgical volume and complex spine care.

Qualifications

• NP: Required Master's Degree.
• NPs educated after 2000 must show evidence of an accredited graduate program (master’s/post-master’s/doctorate).
• PA: Required Master's Degree; graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Michigan licensure for NP/PA is required; PA-C certification (NCCPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain primary spine surgery ICU and floor patient care.
• Complete spine surgery consults and provide first assist in OR.
• Spine trauma pager coverage and collaborative patient management.
