Job summary

UPMC Community Medicine Incorporated seeks a full-time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to support the Spine Neurosurgery program in Wexford. The APP will assist in rounding, the operating room, and outpatient duties within a fast-paced spine practice.

The role includes collaboration with physicians and other health care providers, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Active PA license or ACNP certification in good standing.
• Board certification or eligibility in acute care required.
• Experience in spine or neurosurgery preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on patients in the spine/neurosurgery service.
• Assist in OR and outpatient clinics as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate care.
• Support patient education and discharge planning.
