Job summary

Concentra seeks an orthopedic spine surgeon to join on-site as a 1099 independent contractor in Sacramento. The role supports your existing practice with roughly a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, allowing flexible scheduling.

As part of Concentra Advanced Specialists, you will manage medically complex cases, collaborate with medical and therapy teams, perform both non-surgical and surgical spine care, and communicate with employers to assist case management.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of practice with unrestricted DEA.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery.
• Experience treating work-related injuries preferred.
• Medical malpractice insurance coverage required on site.

Responsibilities

• Half a day per week or biweekly.
