West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System's Surgery Service is seeking an experienced Physician (Orthopedic Surgery) to contribute to a growing VA academic hospital program. You will perform spine and orthopedic procedures, provide preoperative and postoperative care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• US citizenship or eligible to work in the US
• MD or DO degree from an approved school
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US
• Residency in an approved core specialty with board eligibility
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery is preferred for faculty status
• English proficiency in speaking and writing

Aufgaben

• Performs neurosurgical and orthopedic spine procedures and oversees admission, work-up and pre/postoperative care
• Provides preliminary diagnoses and directs treatment plans and referrals as needed
• Engages in Emergency and On-Call schedule for Orthopedics
• Offers operative and non-operative management for spine patients with follow-up care
• Teaches and educates trainees, staff, and colleagues in assessment and treatment of spinal disorders
• Work schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; shifts may vary based on needs
