Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Cary, NC seeks a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Back and Spine Clinic. You’ll work with orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and rehab teams to restore mobility and reduce pain.

Develop individualized plans, deliver evidence-based PT, educate patients and families, and monitor progress. Must have NC PT licensure; OCS and Manual Therapy certifications are preferred; 2+ years of PT experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in North Carolina.
• Demonstrates strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to support recovery and functional improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate.
• Assist in coordinating patient care and facilitating timely patient flow throughout the rehabilitation continuum.
• Uphold WakeMed's mission, vision, and values and provide coverage across rehabilitation areas as needed.
• Support departmental and organizational goals within the rehabilitation continuum.
