Spine NeurosurgeonDepartment of Neurosurgery, Mass General Brigham / Harvard Medical SchoolThe Department of Neurosurgery at Mass General Brigham (MGB) and Harvard Medical School (HMS) is seeking an accomplished Spine Neurosurgeon to join its faculty. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive spine surgical care across a broad spectrum of spinal disorders and will contribute to the continued growth of the Spine Center and expansion of spine services throughout the Mass General Brigham system. Clinical responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient spine care at Brigham and Women's Hospital's main campus, Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Mass General Brigham community hospitals, and ambulatory sites. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a robust clinical practice while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to advancing the care of patients with spinal disorders. Strong clinical abilities are a prerequisite for this position. The successful candidate will be expected to integrate fully with the Department of Neurosurgery's nationally recognized clinical, educational, and academic programs. Candidates with an interest in clinical, translational, outcomes-based, or other scholarly research activities are encouraged to apply. The candidate will participate actively in the education and mentorship of neurosurgery residents, spine fellows, medical students, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals. A demonstrated commitment to teaching and academic engagement is highly desirable. The successful candidate will play an important role in strengthening the Department's academic and clinical mission across the Mass General Brigham system. Appointment as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, achievements, and teaching activities. Suitable candidates will possess an MD or MD/PhD degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required. Fellowship training in spine surgery is preferred.
