Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Durham, NC is looking for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join their Spine Department. The candidate will provide patient care in an outpatient setting, collaborate with supervising physicians, and engage in research opportunities. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina for Nurse Practitioners or certification by the National Commission for Physician Assistants.
• Minimum of one year outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, take patient histories, and document findings.
• Respond to patient inquiries through various channels.
• Order laboratory studies and schedule diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and carry out therapeutic procedures.
• Provide coverage for fellow APPs during absences.
