Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services is seeking a Helicopter Pilot in Salinas, CA for medical air transportation services. Safety is a core value in our operations, and you will work closely with medical teams to ensure effective and safe transport.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in aviation with specific FAA certifications and experience. Compensation includes a competitive salary along with various bonuses and an attractive work schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Must possess Helicopter instrument rating and Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Must have a total of 2,000 flight hours, including 2,000 helicopter hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with medical experts to transport customers safely to locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness by following manuals and cleaning protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and flight crews.
• Provide shift change information according to protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and train regularly.

Skills

Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

Helicopter instrument rating

Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate

2,000 total flight hours

2,000 helicopter flight hours

1,000 helicopter PIC hours

1,000 turbine hours

Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time
