Job summary

Woodland Gourmet is seeking a Plant Controller for its Fremont, Nebraska operations, overseeing all finance and accounting functions for the International Spices segment. This role will manage NetSuite ERP, ensure accurate month-end close, and provide financial insights to drive performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, GAAP expertise, and at least 5+ years of relevant experience, with CPA or CMA a plus. Hybrid work arrangement available.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• Experience with cost accounting principles.
• CPA or CMA a plus.
• Detailed working knowledge of NetSuite ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close procedures and produce monthly financial results and metrics.
• Present financial performance with variance analysis vs budget and prior year.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity and enforce internal controls.
• Administer NetSuite ERP implementation.
• Manage General Ledger, AP, AR, Payroll/HR, Inventory, and Fixed Assets in NetSuite.
• Maintain accounting controls to support CPA audit.
• Support external auditors and tax advisors for annual filings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
