Job summary

International Spices seeks a Plant Controller to oversee the financial and accounting functions for its Fremont, Nebraska operations center, reporting to the Controller of Woodland Foods. The role chairs month-end closings, oversees A/P, A/R, inventory, payroll, and fixed assets within NetSuite ERP.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing finance, solid US GAAP knowledge, and CPA or CMA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of industry related experience.
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
• CPA or CMA a plus.
• Detailed working knowledge of NetSuite ERP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing procedures and produce monthly financial results and metrics.
• Present financial performance and explain variances vs budget and prior year.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity and enforce strong internal controls.
• Administer NetSuite ERP implementation and related subsystems.
• Manage transaction accounting: GL, AP, AR, Payroll/HR, Inventory, Fixed Assets.
