IDC Spring in Coon Rapids, MN, is hiring a SPF Cell Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. The role involves operating and setting up equipment for garage door spring production, selecting robot options, and monitoring heat treatment workflows.

You will perform tooling changes, ensure correct bundles, and help meet KPIs in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing experience, and aptitude with robotics and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate equipment as required.
• Select robot program options according to production.
• Monitor workflow through heat treatment process.
• Change over and ensure proper tooling per specs.
• Unload finished product onto pallets or racks with correct quantities.
• Meet or exceed established KPI targets.
• Utilize computers at various process points to complete tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Complete daily 5S housekeeping.
