IDC Spring is seeking a SPF Cell Operator for the 2nd shift in Piqua, OH. The role involves setting up and running machines to manufacture garage door springs, monitoring processes, and ensuring quality using robotic equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate equipment.
• Select robot program options according to production requirements.
• Monitor workflow through heat treatment process.
• Change over and ensure proper tooling is used according to specifications.
• Unload finished product onto pallets and/or racks ensuring proper quantities are in bundles.
• Consistently meet or exceed established key performance indicators.
• Utilize computers at different points in the process to complete required tasks.
• Complete preventive maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Complete daily clean up and 5S responsibilities.

The SPF Cell Machine Operator is responsible for various tasks in the manufacturing of garage door springs according to customer and product specifications.

Team members are paid weekly. The target hourly pay range is $21.50 to $24.50 depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other factors. A shift premium may be available depending upon shift and location.
