Job summary

Spencer Building Maintenance has an immediate opening for a Bilingual Janitorial Supervisor to oversee staff and ensure quality across assigned accounts in Sacramento.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering $20.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule. Training on-site and opportunities for growth within an essential service provider are included.

Qualifications

• Must have lead/supervisor experience in janitorial roles.
• Proficient English communication.
• Able to lift 35–50 lbs.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• 18 years or older.
• Experience with cleaning procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coach janitorial staff.

Spencer Building Maintenancehas an immediate opening for a Bilingual Janitorial Supervisor! Join an essential company to service the buildings and facilities in your community. Learn new, practical skills and gain experience with on-the-job training.

Wage: $20

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm - these hours may be subject to change depending on operational needs.

Skills

• Able to perform the duties of supervised staff


• Completes regular quality inspections of assigned client


• Ensures all associates are properly trained at each assigned account with a focus on long term retention.


• Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with one's own safe behavior


• Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism


• Asks questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champions change when improvements can be made


• Must have a coaching mindset and be a champion of your team


• Collaborative style with strong influencing skills Previous experience of cleaning procedures and practices

• Requires following safety policies and procedures at all times (such as locking doors, using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).
