Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possession of Basic Virginia DCJS Law Enforcement Certification.
• Experience in traffic enforcement or traffic safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the daily operation of automated speed enforcement camera systems.
• Reviews violations for accuracy and compliance with policies and laws.
• Validates evidence before citation approval.
• Issues, approves, or rejects citations generated by enforcement systems.
• Maintains records and generates reports on activity and program effectiveness.
• Responds to citizen inquiries regarding automated enforcement.
