Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance clinical leadership with hands-on patient care. You will supervise therapists and technicians while continuing to contribute to patient outcomes and program development.

The role emphasizes mentoring colleagues, coordinating team tasks, and driving quality improvements across a busy inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
