Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will lead a clinical team while continuing to provide direct patient care. The role emphasizes balancing clinical excellence with team development and mentoring of therapists, with opportunities to drive quality improvements across the unit.

The ideal candidate holds a current PT/OT/SLP license, has at least three years of discipline-specific experience, and demonstrates leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP.
• BLS (CPR) required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
