Job summary

Therapy 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our mission-driven team providing home-based therapy for children in Texas. You will administer Speech Therapy under a supervising SLP, develop caregiver-involved home programs, and collaborate with healthcare providers to support each child’s growth.

The role requires 3+ years of pediatric SLPA experience in a home-health setting, strong reliability, and adaptability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Reliability and adaptability to changing needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy treatments under Supervising Speech Language Pathologist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of patients’ medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.
• Meet with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality care.
• Perform all duties in accordance with agency policies and applicable laws.
