Therapy 2000 in East Houston is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapy Assistant to join a mission‑driven home‑based care team. Under a Supervising Speech-Language Pathologist you will deliver pediatric speech therapy, develop home exercise plans with families, and coordinate care across providers to help children thrive in their own homes.

Formación

• 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Ability to follow Supervising Speech Language Pathologist goals and treatment plans.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy treatments under Supervising Speech Language Pathologist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of patients’ medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.
• Meet with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules and laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
