Job summary

THERAPY 2000 in Texas seeks a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support home-based therapy teams under supervising speech-language pathologists. You will collaborate with families, assess progress, and implement treatment plans within a compassionate, family-centered model.

You will coordinate care with healthcare providers, develop home exercise programs, and ensure timely charting and documentation while traveling between patient visits.

Qualifications

• Candidates must demonstrate reliability and flexibility.
• Proficient with common workplace technology.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy treatments under Supervising Speech Language Pathologist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of patients’ medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress notes, call logs, and paperwork.
• Collaborate with agency personnel to ensure understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality care.
• Follow agency policies, procedures, and relevant laws.

• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
