Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Selma, CA to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. Responsibilities include developing plans of care, documenting progress, and collaborating with physicians and families to improve communication outcomes.

Requirements include active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, English proficiency, and a graduate from an accredited program.

Qualifications

• Speech and Language Pathology Licensure in state for which you are applying.
• 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
• English proficiency and a graduate of an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education and documentation.
• Provides professional treatment for speech, language, hearing, oral motor, swallowing and cognitive disorders.
• Plans activities and provides therapeutic services for speech and language disorders.
• Serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate and participates in QA and customer service activities.
• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Document, prepare and complete Plan of Care, progress notes and discharge summaries.
