Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital-Northwest Indiana is hiring a PRN Speech Therapist (ST/SLP) to screen, evaluate and educate patients with speech, language, dysphagia, and related disorders. The therapist will plan and conduct rehabilitative programs in accordance with hospital policies to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates must hold a current Indiana license as a Speech Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, maintain BLS certification, and communicate effectively in English;

Qualifications

• Maintains a current Speech Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist License in state of Indiana
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Additional languages desirable

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate and educate patients with speech, language, dysphagia, dysarthria, voice, fluency, and cognitive deficits
• Plan, direct and conduct rehabilitative and counseling programs to treat these disorders
• Maintain high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures
