Job summary

Senior Care Solutions Group in Miami Lakes, FL is seeking a compassionate Speech Therapist to deliver high-quality in-home speech therapy services on a PRN/part-time basis. You will work one-on-one with residents, addressing communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic needs, empowering patients to regain function in their own homes.

This field-based role offers flexible scheduling, clinical autonomy, and strong team support to ensure compliant, patient-centered care under Medicare home

Qualifications

• Active Florida Speech Therapist License.
• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently and manage a PRN caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Provide skilled therapy interventions, including communication therapy, swallowing therapy, cognitive retraining, and compensatory strategy training.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, safety, and communication strategies.
• Document all care in compliance with Medicare and agency standards.
• Communicate regularly with nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Report any significant changes in patient condition to the physician and clinical team.
