Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a compassionate Speech Therapist (ST) to provide high-quality home health services on a PRN/Part Time basis in West Palm Beach and surrounding areas. You will work one-on-one with patients to address communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic needs, helping them regain function in the comfort of their homes.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and educate patients and caregivers, while coordinating with a clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Speech Therapist License.
• 1+ year of home health experience.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently and manage a PRN caseload.
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Provide skilled therapy interventions, including communication therapy, swallowing therapy, cognitive retraining, and compensatory strategy training.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, safety, and communication strategies.
• Document all care in compliance with Medicare and agency standards.
• Communicate regularly with nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
