Job summary

Lyonsview Health and Rehab seeks a Speech Therapist SLP Supervisor to guide new graduates and help plan, organize, develop, and direct speech-language pathology services in line with federal, state, and local standards. This is a full-time or PRN role, hourly plus bonus.

The position requires a Master of Speech-Language Pathology, CCC, and an active SLP license with ongoing continuing education. You will deliver therapy, collect data for planning, and ensure CMS-compliant documentation in

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency.
• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

is hiring for a Speech Therapist SLP Supervisor to provide guidance and supervisor over new graduates, while assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Status: Full-Time or PRN
