Simpsonville Post Acute, located in Simpsonville, SC, is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role. The position focuses on patient-centered therapy to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function within a skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, an active SC license, and experience in rehab. CFYs or student supervision is a plus, and PCC/Casamba familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active South Carolina SLP license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Ability to supervise CFYs or students preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy per physician orders and care goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes per regulations.
• Supervise CFYs, CFYs, and students as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy and maintenance programs.

This role focuses on helping residents improve **communication, cognition, and swallowing function**.### **Key Responsibilities*** Evaluate residents and develop individualized **treatment plans*** Provide therapy services per **physician orders and care goals*** Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with regulations* Supervise **SLPAs, CFYs, and students** as appropriate* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members* Participate in **care conferences, utilization review, and discharge planning*** Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy and maintenance programs* Conduct **staff training and in-service education*** Ensure compliance with **state practice act and facility policies**### ### **Qualifications*** Master’s or Doctorate degree in **Speech-Language Pathology*** Active **South Carolina SLP license** (in good standing)* Experience in **skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred*** Ability to supervise CFYs or students preferred* Familiarity with **PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba** preferred* Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
