Job summary

Patewood Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, individualized therapy services.

The role requires an SLP license in South Carolina and a degree in Speech-Language Pathology; a master’s or doctoral degree is preferred, with experience in long-term care or rehab

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required).
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care team members.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
