Job summary

Pro Rehab is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to float between the Starbuck and Wheaton area. This on-call position offers $45-$50/hour with mileage reimbursement of $0.70 per mile.

The successful candidate will be CCC-SLP certified and licensed in Minnesota, with experience in home health settings. Responsibilities include evaluating speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders, creating and implementing treatment plans, delivering therapy, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess a current MN Speech Therapist License (CCC/SLP).
• Experience with Homecare Homebase EMR is helpful or willing to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose communication disorders (speech, language, voice, fluency, swallowing).
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve deficits.
• Provide speech and language therapy to improve communication skills.
• Educate patients and families on strategies for effective communication.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support.

Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist. We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to float between the Starbuck and Wheaton area! We offer a competitive wage, benefits and mileage reimbursement ($.70 / mile). We are seeking an SLP with current CCC-SLP certification.

Position Type: On-Call. Wage Range: $45 - $50 / hour depending on experience. Location: 605 N. Main St. Starbuck, MN 56381.

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:

• Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
• Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with HealthcareTeams: Work with doctors,nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
• Homecare Homebase EMR experience helpful but will train
• Experience with OASIS preferred or willing to be trained
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain.
• Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
