Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Speech Therapist for Jeanes Hospital on a per-diem pool. The role involves diagnosing and treating speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will participate in established programs, educate patients, and develop discharge plans while supervising support personnel within scope of practice. Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP or SLP-LIC (or CFY eligible), and PA Speech

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech–Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP or SLP-LIC required; CFY eligible accepted.
• PA Speech Pathologist License required.
• Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and treats speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participates in established speech pathology programs including patient care and education.
• Establishes treatment programs and discharge plans; directs support personnel within scope of practice.
