Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat disorders of speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role includes implementing treatment programs, educating patients and families, discharge planning and supervising support personnel within the scope of practice in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CCC-SLP or SLP-LIC certification is required, or CFY eligibility.
• PA Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and treats speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing disorders in clinical inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participates in established speech pathology programs including patient care and education.
• Establishes treatment programs and discharge plans.
• Directs support personnel within the scope of practice.
