Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment programs in alignment with departmental policies. Must hold SLP licensure and ASHA certification within 1 year of hire, with current BLS.

Emergency response capability is required. The role includes coordination with care teams, documentation, and ongoing patient care across settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional SLP license in applicable state.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire and BLS current.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Position Details

• Education: Master‘s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Licensure: Current or provisional Speech Language Pathologist license in applicable State of practice.
• Experience:
• Certifications: Certification from American Speech and Hearing Association within 1 year of hire, extension at discretion of leader and clinical fellowship supervisor. BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred Experience: One year of experience. Experience in caring for patients of all ages preferred.
