Job summary

Freeman Health System in Freeman, SD is seeking a licensed Speech Therapist to join our Therapy team. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, document care, and coordinate discharge planning, working with a multidisciplinary staff in inpatient and outpatient settings.

• From infants to collegiate and professional athletes to senior citizens, Freeman therapists perform functional evaluations to develop and implement treatment plans for the best therapeutic outcomes for our patients
• Services include Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy
• Inpatient and outpatient services are available

What You'll Do

Independently evaluates patients, develops a treatment plan based on goal directed objectives, delivers/documents care, and provides d/c planning on all physician referred patients. Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies/procedures.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in Missouri.
• Must already have or obtain CCC Designation within one year.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
