Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited school of Speech Pathology.
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or licensed Speech Therapist.
• Must hold or obtain Ohio SLP license and CCC within 9 months if not yet held.
• Attention to detail.
• Minimum one clinical rotation in Rehabilitation Services.

Responsibilities

• Collects/interprets diagnostic data for assessments.
• Develops treatment plans and patient-specific goals.
• Supervises SLP/CFY(s) and students.
• Initiates patient care in a timely manner per department guidelines.
• Ensures charges are captured and submitted within 24 hours of treatment.
• Completes program competency/checklists and annual competencies.
• Completes documentation consistent with department policies.
• Cross-trains as appropriate to credentials and department needs.
• Assists with orientation of new staff and/or students.
• Performs other functions as assigned.
