Community Health Systems in Bullhead City, AZ, seeks a part-time Speech Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. You will develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities include MBS collaborations, daily documentation, and patient-family education to support ongoing therapy and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• 1–3 years as a Speech Therapist in a clinical, hospital, or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and dysphagia management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to restore communicative efficiency.
• Performs Modified Barium Swallow evaluations in collaboration with Radiology and communicates results.
• Documents interventions, patient progress, and outcomes in the medical record daily.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals and care.
• Provides education to patients, families and caregivers to support continuity of care.
