Job summary

Centerburg, Ohio-based hospital is seeking a Speech Therapist to join the outpatient and pediatrics teams. The role involves screening, evaluation, and therapeutic interventions across ages, with a focus on evidence-based practice and collaboration with the care team.

Typical work hours are 8:00am–5:30pm for outpatient and 8:00am–6:00pm for pediatrics, with some variability. A master’s degree in Speech Pathology and Ohio licensure, plus CPR certification, are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current State of Ohio Licensure.
• Current CPR Certified.
• Ability to work variable days and hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, evaluation, and therapeutic interventions to patients.
• Develop a treatment plan and implementation per doctor referral.
• Excellent internal personal skills with all ages and socio-economic status.
• Demonstrate critical thinking to provide safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information.
• Evaluations are 1 hour: Adult 8-9 patients; Peds 8-10 daily, 30-45 mins.
• See a wide range of diagnoses in a small community hospital.
