Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our care team. The role includes resident assessment, care planning, and direct treatment for a general rehab caseload, with participation in the clinical team process.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s in Speech Therapy and an active MA SLP license, with prior long-term care experience. We offer a sign-on bonus and competitive weekly pay, plus benefits and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Therapy (required).
• SLP license in Massachusetts required.
• Prior experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents and develop appropriate care plans.
• Provide direct resident treatments per established plan (individual and group).
• Contribute to team meetings and decision-making processes.
• Consult with and train residents and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies with supervisor and document activities in the chart.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Medicare and reimbursement regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, and supervisor.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
