Job summary

Freeman Health in Joplin, MO seeks a licensed Speech Therapist to join its Therapy (PT/OT/ST) team. You will evaluate patients and design goal-directed treatment plans for inpatients and outpatients, delivering care and documenting progress.

You will also coordinate discharge planning and supervise support staff, complying with professional ethics, standards, and hospital policies. This is a full-time opportunity with Freeman’s comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Therapist licensure in state of practice.
• Auto liability insurance.

• From infants to collegiate and professional athletes to senior citizens, Freeman therapists perform functional evaluations to develop and implement treatment plans for the best therapeutic outcomes for our patients
• Services include Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy
• Inpatient and outpatient services are available

What You'll Do

Independently evaluates patients, develops a treatment plan based on goal directed objectives, delivers/documents care, and provides d/c planning on all physician referred patients. Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies/procedures.

Requirements

• Current Speech Therapist licensure in state of practice.
• Auto liability insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Current driver's license.
