Role Overview

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating and treating speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. The role involves providing individualized care based on the assessed age and developmental needs, either directly or indirectly.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Preferred: Home Care or Long Term Care experience
• Preferred: Membership in Colorado Speech-Language Hearing Association (CSHA)
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Membership in American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Current Colorado driver’s license
• CPR certification; BLS from American Heart Association required for facilities with an AED
• AED experience preferred for facilities without AED

This is a medium work role, exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly. The PRN home health position covers weekdays and weekends around Colorado Springs.

Pay Range: $34.56 - $50.14/hour
