Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients regain their power. You assist with communication, swallowing, and remediation of disorders. You design and implement rehab plans, working closely with patients.
You are a healer and a helper, addressing the whole patient and tailoring programs to restore and enhance speech and communication.
You adapt to patient needs, enjoy variety in work settings, and thrive in a dynamic environment. Collaboration with peers and making referrals are part of your approach.
You also teach patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
