Unknown Hospital in Centerburg, Ohio, is seeking a Speech Therapist to provide screening, evaluation and therapy across adult and pediatric patients. Outpatient and Pediatrics tracks offer 8:00–5:30/8:00–6:00 schedules with day off variations, in a small community hospital setting.

The role requires a Master's in Speech Pathology, Ohio licensure, CPR certification, and ability to adapt days/hours. Competitive hourly pay with a full benefits package and sign-on bonus offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, evaluation, and therapeutic interventions to patients.
• Develop a treatment plan and implementation per doctor referral.
• Excellent internal personal skills with all ages and socio-economic status.
• Demonstrate critical thinking to provide safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information.
• Evaluations are 1 hour: Adult 8–9 patients; Peds 8–10 patients daily with co-treatment with OT.
• See a wide range of diagnoses in a small community hospital.

Location: Centerburg, Ohio

What they are looking for:

• Current State of Ohio Licensure
• Ability to work variable days and hours as needed
• Current CPR Certified

Hours and compensation potential:

• Positions are full time. One is for the Outpatient area and schedule is 8am-5:30pm. One position is for the Pediatrics area and schedule is 8am-6pm(most Peds therapists work 4-10 hrs days). Day off is Tues; Wed or Thurs.
• Range is between $36hr(74880)-$42hr(87360) depending on experience. Full benefit package included and a sign on bonus being offered.

What you will be doing:

  Adult: will see 8-9 patients (treatments can range from 30-45 mins).

  Peds: will see 8-10 patients daily and treatments can range from 30-45 mins; there is a lot of co-treatment with Occupational Therapy.

• Since we are small community hospital person will see just about any diagnosis.
