Job summary

Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell is seeking a part-time and per diem Speech Therapist to assess residents, plan care, and provide direct treatments within a rehab setting.

The role offers weekly pay, Monday–Friday openings, and compensation up to $55 per hour. Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS in Speech Therapy with current state licensure and prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Speech Therapy.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency.
• Two years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred.
• CEU requirements per state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients/residents.
• Evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plans.
• Provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Consults with and trains patients/residents and caregivers.
• Monitors efficiencies and documents activities according to the clinical documentation system.
• Demonstrates knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate part-time and per diem Speech Therapists to join our team at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
