Job summary

Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell is hiring a part-time/per diem Speech Therapist to assess and treat residents. You will create care plans, deliver services, and collaborate with caregivers to support patient goals.

Enjoy weekly pay and a flexible schedule in a busy rehab setting. Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS in Speech Therapy, active state licensure, and 2 years of long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Speech Therapy required.
• Current licensure by the state is required.
• Two years of long-term care experience preferred.
• CEUs per licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients/residents and assess needs.
• Develop and implement care plans for speech therapy.
• Provide direct resident treatments per plan of care.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor documentation and regulatory compliance.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate part-time and per diem Speech Therapists to join our team at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload. Weekly pay! Monday-Friday opening. Up to $55 an hour.
Summary:

As a Speech Therapist at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and residents, providing speech therapy services to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. Responsibilities

• Screens patients/residents
• Evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plans
• Provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care
• Consults with and trains patients/residents and caregivers
• Monitors efficiencies and documents activities according to our clinical documentation system
• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred
• CEU's per state licensure requirements
