Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis at our Easton, MD community. You will evaluate residents, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver clinical speech therapy services across the continuum of care.

We offer on-site rehab gyms, on-the-job training, and a strong benefits package, including student loan forgiveness opportunities for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in the state(s) served.
• Experience in skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to residents, including evaluations and treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individual treatment programs and goals.
• Discharge planning and related duties as required.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to residents, including evaluations, planning individual treatment programs and goals, actual treatments, discharge planning, and performing other related duties as required. Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• An active Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
• A valid Speech Language Pathology license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered
• Experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment (preferred)

Pay Range

$42.50 - $65.00 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
