Job summary

Novant Health Rehabilitation Float Team is hiring a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join their acute care team, with emphasis on MBSS and FEES performed independently.

The role primarily supports Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center and Stokes Medical Center, with occasional coverage at Forsyth and Kernersville Medical Centers. Candidates must graduate from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program, hold state licensure, and current ASHA certification (CFY or CCC).

Qualifications

• Must graduate from accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Current ASHA certification (CFY or CCC) required.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform MBSS and FEES on an as-needed basis.
• Work independently as the sole SLP on a shift when required.
• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing and fluency disorders across the lifespan.

• This role will primarily support Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center and Stokes Medical Center.
• Occasionally providing coverage at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center and Kernersville Medical Center

What You'll Do

• regularly perform modifieds and FEES
• must be able to work independently as you will often be the sole SLP on a shift will be working alone
• prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders across the lifespan

What We're Looking For

Education: Graduate from accredited Speech Therapy program Required

Experience: Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Appropriate state Speech Therapy license Required Current ASHA certification (CFY or CCC) Required
