Company Description A BETTER TOMORROW THERAPY & WELLNESS CENTER is an outpatient, multidisciplinary clinic located in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska. The clinic focuses on providing trauma aware, relationship based, play focused, high-quality therapeutic services. Team members collaborate across disciplines to support clients in achieving better health, communication, and overall quality of life. Role Description The Speech Therapist is a full-time (4- 10 hour days), on-site role located in Anchorage, AK. In this position, the Speech Therapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for clients of varying ages and backgrounds. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapy, and documenting progress in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The Speech Therapist collaborates with other healthcare and wellness professionals, communicates regularly with clients and their families or caregivers, and participates in interdisciplinary meetings to support comprehensive care. The role also involves client and family education, maintenance of accurate records, and ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

  • Possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and hold (or be eligible for) state licensure in Alaska.
  • Hold or be eligible for national certification (e.g., CCC-SLP) and maintain required continuing education.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct speech and language assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Strong clinical skills in delivering evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapies across diverse client populations.
